Dimmer cord for Brooder light?

    Any one use a dimmer cord for adjusting the brooder light?

    This would be tons easier, and maybe safer, than trying to physically raise and lower the light fixture itself to adjust heat spot in the brooder.

    Never tried it, but it sure seems like a sensible solution. Could also help in the 'weaning' process.

    Works great so far, am testing bulb wattages in my brooder...got my first hatch due tomorrow.
