    I think my chickens have been eatingdirt as grit, there crops are HUGE HUGE H-U-G-E HUGE [​IMG] [​IMG] Whats wrong with them? Do I need to buy grit they have an pen but not sand/stone.

    Depending on what kind of dirt they are eating, that could be a bad habit. If you have no stones/sand/grit then you need to get some. If your birds are eating dirt with high clay content then they can end up with impacted crops. If they are eating soft stones like calcium or limestone they can end up with malnourishment issues due to inability to grind their food properly for digestion. They need grit.
