I had my second incubation underway. All was going well. Day 19, candled the eggs and 10 from 12 were doing well. I upped the humidity to 70% and on day 21 the eggs started cracking. 10 hours later I had my first chick. 20 hours later I had another chick, then things started to go terribly wrong.

3 chicks had pipped but were dying stuck to their shells. I upped the humidity to 80% but the remaining chicks were struggling to get out of their shells. I knew I shouldn't help but I didn't want to lose anymore, so I helped the remaining chicks out of their shell. They were all very weak, and over the last 48hrs they have died. I had 10 chicks that pipped and only 3 suvived. What did I do sooo wrong???

Helping them was probably not the best thing to do, as they were probably hatched too early. How much time elapsed between the time that they pipped and the time that you opened them up completely?
