Had not heard of this before today - Riemerella anatipestifer (Duck Septicaemia — Goose Influenza — Infectious Serositis — New Duck Disease — Polyserositis — Riemerellosis)

Treatment

Enrofloxacin, Lincomycin, Novobiocin, Procaine Penicillin and Trimethoprim-Sulphonamides can be used, some as injectables, others in feed. However, current legislation in many countries does not allow the use of quinolones. Antibiotic sensitivity testing should be carried out prior to treatment.

Good to be aware - let's translate some of the symptoms - see if I do this okay, please K.

Listlessness and coughing - okay I understand
ocular and nasal discharge - runny eyes and nares, yes?
ataxia - hmmm - Mayo clinic site: Ataxia describes a lack of muscle control during voluntary movements, such as walking or picking up objects. A sign of an underlying condition, ataxia can affect movement, speech, eye movement and swallowing.

So, it might look a bit like botulism, then?

I think your translation is spot-on!

I have not seen botulism in person or even a video, so I don't know? Will look into it. However, I have seen ataxia in birds with worms, coccidia and bacterial infections. Some peafowl people have reported it in eggbound hens, but I haven't seen that.
