Are Pheasants born with natural diseases that can transfer from chickens to pheasants or vise versa? My father wanted to get pheasants this year and I am the one who does all the research and takes care of them all. (this is our first time with pheasants.)
Please give me lots of feedback I will take all the information I can get!!

Your concern would be more the chickens passing diseases to the pheasants. Coryza is most common. Many people keep pheasants and chickens together with no issue. I am of the school of keeping chickens and gamebirds separate.

This thread is about quail but it goes for most gamebirds.
