Disgusting pond

I have a disgusting stagnant pond in the back yard. It is filled with funny bugs and some frogs in clay soil. My question, will it hurt my ducks if they happen to get into it? BTW I have a wonderfully filtered pond in the front with fish. Just wondering.

How big is this pond? Is it something you could fill in if it's just attracting mosquitoes and other nasties?

edit: Or maybe put a pump in so it's not so stagnant?

Can't fill it in at this time......so would they get sick if they happened to get in it? Don't think that would happen but just wondering.
