When do they usually grow spurs.
yes, they all do grow spurs, but size can vary widely.
They grow very gradually, and the rate varies too from roo to roo.
I think i read that they usually get them at about 9 months or so.
Yes, they usually but not always grow spurs. In some breeds [Old English, Dutch & Sumatras to name 3] absence of spurs is a disqualification. While most males grow spurs as they mature individual specimens may not-true of any breed.
