Do Amaracaunas usually go broody?

I think one of my Amaracunas have gone broody... She is in the nesting box and anytime I come near her she puffs up and makes this squalking noise...she isn't sitting on any eggs but she is acting very weird. I've never had a broody hen before...does this sound like what it is...or should I be worried?
