do any of your roosters dance for your girls?

look i kno this might sound strange but my old roo used to dance for his girls alot (he hated me but loved his girls)
my new rool whos still just under a yr dose do this 2 but not as much at all
i wanted to kno do your roos dance to your girls ?
y do u think thay do this ?
and y do some roos do it and some dont ?
and if ur roo dosent .....y do u think that is ?

You must be talking about the "wing down while he circles" dance. Yes, all my roos do it, but they are all with their own small flocks. That is part of their mating routine. They circle the hen to get her in the position they need her to be for them to ________

You have roos that don't? Must not be dominent in the flock. Alpha male gets the girl.

well my flock is just small but on our small holding we also have a large flock with 2 roos in nither of them dance (wing down bit)
even the alpha this is y i ask if your roos dance or not

My alpha roo does this...the other younger roos just run and grab 'em--they have no finesse!!
