Do baby chicks need a uvb light?

I have my baby silkie chick in a 20 gal aquarium w mesh top and a red heat lamp on it and aspen bedding
I just found her in the st yesterday and want to give her the best care

No, chicks don't need uvb light. Is your chicken by it's self? Chickens are social animals and are happier when they have friends. Is it possible you can get another chick?

Go for 2 more, that way they can huddle in a group. Fun to watch, they will follow each other around.
