Do baby chicks need grit?

My chicks are a week old now. Should I be feeding them a dish of grit along with the chick starter?:

They do not need grit as long as they are only eating chick starter. It is already in there. If you decide to start offering treats, then grit will be necessary - however, I do not recommend treats until they go outside and start scratching for their own. They will also pick up grit outside on their own from small stones/pebbles.
