Do baby chicks roost a lot when moved to the Hen House?

My chicks are energetic when eating and looking around the pen but they seem to be roosting a lot. Is that normal for baby chicks or should they be running around all day. They seem to like hanging out in the hen house.

Mine run around and only roost when they get cold. I put a little roost out there under a heat lamp.
