Do bantams live longer than large fowl chickens? I vaguely remember reading something about size affecting life-span, but can't recall exactly what it said.

    Thanks!

I'm quite certain bantams do live longer. My standard birds usually only make it seven or so years, whereas I have bantams that are over ten years old and still going strong.

OK thanks. That's what I was thinking, but couldn't remember for sure what I'd read!

Shameless of me, but now that the holidays are over, I'm hoping for some more opinions on this post?

    Thanks!
