I was able to determine the gender of my BCMs after only 5 days. The cockerels had darker reddish combs. Combs were getting bigger really fast compared to the pullets combs.
I too easily knew my roo's at 3 weeks with my BCM's.
Darn it.Mine are 5 wks old and at 3 weeks I could tell the roos. They seem to develop the combs early.
Pictures?Darn it.
I ordered six females. One failed to thrive and one is clearly developing a comb and wattles at four weeks that is beyond anyone else's. That's four left. But the ones I think are females are still developing combs faster than my other breeds.
Thanks for the thread.
