Do chickens become louder when they hear other chickens making noise?

    Have you noticed that your chickens start making more noise when they hear other hens or roosters making noise?

    ABSOLUTELY!!! They answer back. Once one starts the rest won't shut up. :|

    Chickens are flock creatures. When one is disturbed by something they all respond.

    It's amazing how when I feed one of my girls a treat the others seem to have a 6th sense
    and come running.
