Do chicks peck their own toes???

My Salmon Faverolle has been pecking is own toes! He pecks then screeches lol I think he will get it in a while. ok

I think it's if he pecks one off! (he has 5 toes on each foot!)
 
They peck anything. He'll figure out eventually that those juicy looking worms are his own toes.

Aren't they funny??

Baby chicks explore the world with their beaks, the same way that human infants do. They peck at things to figure out of they're edible, so don't be surprised if you get pecked: moles, eyes, jewelry, freckles, hair, etc. are all primary target. Be esp careful of your eyes around chickens!
