Do ducks taste better if butchered after the first snow?

I have 2 muscovy ducks and a drake that are 1 year old. I was told that their meat becomes tender after the first snow. Something with the cold softening their muscles.
I need to get rid of them because they raised no ducklings and kept eating their eggs.
It won't snow for a month or so and I was wondering if I should wait.
Is it true that their meat will be more tender when real cold starts??
Or a year old drake will be tough no matter what!

It doesn't sound logical.

I have never heard that and always killed ducks when they were large enough regardless of the time of year or temperature.
