a month ago I was getting 7/7, now the 2 of the 3 EEs that are 5 months old seem to have quit laying? The 2 Rocks and 2 NHRs seem to be almost 100% everyday?

The days are getting shorter now in the Northern Hemisphere and during the shorter days hens will start slowing down or completely stop laying. Some hens lay through winter, but many need at least 14 hours of light per day to keep them in production.

I've got a little solar light in there as kind of a night light, they go up to their roost with it on, I don't suppose it will change their desire to lay one way or another. I'm ok with the number of eggs whatever they choose, would like 6 a week out of the 7 hens during the winter, do you think that is possible? Even sitting at about 12 hours a day now the other 4 are still 100%. Thanks for your response, like I said I was just hoping they were ok as they look healthy and happy.
