Do exhaust fans in a chicken coop really help?

When our chickens went in to roost last night it was 86 degrees in their coop. They have 4 windows, a lot of ventilation, and a double fan on at night for them yet its still hot. When the outside temperature is hot and humid would an exhaust fan really help in this case? Would love to hear from those that use one. Thanks.

I use them when it's over 90 ambient. Air flow and reduced humidity help. Chickens are good up to 85. An exhaust fan will decrease humidity even with a high ambient humidity.
Where are you and how many chickens do you have?

Frozen milk jugs suspended from the ceiling at roost height will allow the chickens to nestle next to them.

I've also had a fan blowing into a coop and across a frozen water bottle at night.

It's 82 degree in the coop tonight and the outside temp is 80.

We have 4 chickens now but will be adding more soon.

We live in Florida.
