I recently made a 45 min drive to buy 3 female silkies that i was told are laying an egg a day each. He had them all boxed and ready to go and i didnt look in the box because their were some shady looking fellas standing around and i wanted to get outa their, anyhoo. SO i got home and let them out, and they look like boys to me, but i dont have much expierience in the silkie dept. Im guessing boys because they have really long wattles, and wide combs as well at their crest goes back and doesnt poof. So my question is, Do female silkies have long wattles that hang down or are they usualy short wattles? Any adive would be great!
