I'm debating on buying or building a good sized incubator (hold 50ish eggs). I'd rather make one as I assume it'd be much cheaper. What's your advice? Is there a handmade model that is successful?
Cheers

Some people have hatch very successful hatches in home made incubators. And they can be much cheaper than commercially build ones. The most important thing is to make sure you use good quality thermometer and hygrometer. I've had a disastrous hatch in a home made incubator once and found afterwards that the thermometer was faulty. It was reading a few degrees too low.

Here's some links on home made incubators
