do hens attack roos?

well I have just moved my four chicks out side and now my chickens are starting to fight more often than usual, and I have a buff roo and a EE that might be a roo that are fighting In the coop so do roos and hens fight sometimes? oh and my EE is starting to get red on it wings so does that make it male or maybe its a hen. can anyone answer me I need this answer asap because I cant have roos in the city.

Well they might be just settling the pecking order and then they'll stop. If not,roos normally fight with each other but i've had a couple hens who put the roos in there place.
