    That's definitely a rooster, and it's not a RIR.

    Hah. Easter egger. Brain fog is real. Thanks, off to learn about roos and decide what to do about him, if anything.

    How can you tell it's a rooster by that photo?

    He's got a larger red comb, and isn't an EE either, unless his legs are really turning green. Mary

    He looks like a Pioneer/Dixie Rainbow instead of an EE.

    Hahahaha fantastic. Is there a good place to post photos of my ladies and gent to figure out what kind of chicks I have. Obviously I was given bad information when we purchased. I don't know that I particularly care, but it would be nice to know.
