Do I have a Manx rumpie?

About 7 weeks old bird. Could be an Araucana but no beard. Manx Rumpie? There are no tail feathers in this one and two others that I got out of the “rare breed” bin. It's almost a bluish silver. Not typical lavender.

Hmm, there’s a possibility, but I think it’ll be easier to tell once she’s older.

Unless it came from a breeder with them, no.

And araucana don't have beards.

Looks more like it does have a tail, just a small one. It still had a rump from what i can see, just not longer tail feathers

Where exactly did you get this chick? If from a feed store, which?

I agree that this chick does not appear rumpless, as there is a bit of a tail there that just hasn't feathered out yet. Rumpless chickens' backs swoop immediately downward to their vents, they do not come to a point above the vent as your chick's does.

Very, very unlikely to be a Manx Rumpy. They're very rare. Could be a rumpless normal breed
