Do I have an imposter in my midst? I had Jersey Giants and Buff Orpingtons in the incubator. I have no idea what the bright yellow one is? Any help appreciated[IMG]

Does it simply mean its a boy Orpington? Or a white Jersey? Confused!

Were you hatching blue (BBS) jersey giants? It could be a splash.

I would also lean towards splash Jersey Giant, since I see a blue chick in your second pic. Though it isn't unheard of to get recessive whites out of a black pen, so that is also a possibility.

I bought the eggs from an auction. They simply said 'Jersey Giant' so I am unsure what colours to expect? You would agree that it's a jersey then? Thank you

Some of my buff orp chicks are that light when they hatch.

The thing is, they have the same feet colour as the other jerseys also similar build. Still confused about them. I have googled the splash colour but not too sure about those either. Time will tell I guess haha
