Hi, I know that chicken is best aged for a few days in the fridge before eating. Do I need to age quail too? Thank you!

You don't ahve to, just let them get past the rigormortis stage, then they are good to go. [IMG]

Quote:no [IMG] Icomes about shortly after the kill, depending on the temperature, and lasts a while, then it is gone and you can eat. Of course the meat willl be better if aged a bit, but really, quail are delicious any way.

We were a lot happier with our quail that sat overnight.
Last batch had cranberries, spinach and feta cheese with some fresh spices stuffed into them...... I can hardly wit to have more!!!!!
