Why would you need to process them at all?

If you want eggs you need to wait for them to lay more eggs. If you'd rather have meat...go ahead and process?

Thanks for the respnse. I dont want to process them. I was just wondering if i need to because a couple of people have told me i need to.

No...you don't need to unless you're wanting meat. If you're wanting eggs then don't bother. 24 weeks is about right for them to start laying. Eventually you'll have so many eggs you won't know what to do with them all!
