do incubated eggs

    HOOKERVILLE!!!
    weigh more than ones that arent in the bator? also i took the turner out this morning and had an egg explode! talk about STINK!!!!! [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    eggs do lose weight as they are incubated. The air cell in the end of the egg grows larger and moisture is lost through the shell as part of the incubation process, so you are correct in noting the incubated eggs weigh less than fresh eggs.

    I've been lucky so far not to have any exploding eggs.... I'm sure as much as I incubate it's just a matter of time though. [​IMG]
