Do Muscovy ducks eat mosquitoes?

I have a terrible problem with mosquitoes. My campbell ducks don't eat them. I was wondering if Muscovies really eat many mosquitoes. There is some mosquito catching machine but it is around $400. If Muscovies really eat many of them I would love to add them to my little flock. Thanks

They not only eat mosquitoes, they eat flies, roaches, just about any insect that moves. I've personally witnessed one snatching a red wasp out of the air and eating it.

Yes they do eat them when they see them. They also eat the larvae from standing water.

i live in florida with plenty of mosquitos and when i take my 2 scovy ducklings that are only a week and a half old outside they chase them down and eat them right out of mid air! they even snag them off of me if one lands on me

and yes they also eat all other sorts of insects
