Hi I was wondering do my chicks need grit, I'm feeling them store bought non-medicated crumbles?

    Thanks

[IMG]Great to have another poultry lover! No you don't need to, but it seems like their poop is more watery than hard, grit would help them digest the food better.

When chicks start eating other things than their chick feed, then they need some grit. [IMG]
