My hens have been laying for about 3 weeks now and they're still laying small to medium sized eggs at best.
I have black australorps, easter eggers, and barred rocks that I was told lay "large" eggs.

They are 21 weeks old.

Do they get larger later on??

Count your blessings! At least you are getting eggs. My black Australorps are almost 21 weeks old, have had bright red combs and wattles for six weeks, have been singing the egg song and squatting for about three weeks, and not nary an egg. I am pouting big time!

Hang in there they do get bigger by the day almost. I know how you feel though. I ave like 2 dozen pullet eggs in the frig right now. They are all like half the size of a normal large eggs. Cute as can be. The kids really love them!

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. . .

Today I got my first LARGE egg!

The rest of 'em were itty bitty, tho.

I'm thinkin' I shoulda put baseballs inside the nests instead of golf balls.
