    Am i crazy?

I started paying close attention to my chickens' legs tonight, for whatever reason, and i noticed that my RIR (hatchery grade) whose legs used to be yellow, are now more of a white, pretty much matching the BO legs. They're all close to a year old. So i'm wondering if they start to lose leg color when they're getting ready to molt????

I looked around a lot and noticed that the younger (POL) girls still have a nice yellow paint on their legs.

    What's happening? I'm confused.

[IMG] Then how do you explain the rooster's pale legs? Where is his going? [IMG]

    Thanks for your responses!

Hmm, too much sunbathing? Maybe they get bleached pale. [IMG]
