I just bought these 7 chicks from a local feed store (sight unseen). I was told they were quail d'Anvers over the phone.........but they are whitish-grey. Actually I don't even see beards on these little guys so perhaps they are another breed altogether?
They are about 2 weeks old in these pictures. They are starting to get peach/yellowish feathering around their necks. The chicks are small for their age compared to our other chicks and are very friendly.
Can anyone confirm that they are d'anvers and if so what color will they develop into? Thank you for helping me with this mystery.
