I wasn't completely sure where to post this so I apologize if it's in the wrong spot.

I left my flashlight on in the coop when I went out at 2:55am today and was too tired to remember to grab it. I had used the strap on it to hang it up top so that I wouldn't drop it while changing the feeder and water container. It's really bright and with how I had it hung up, it made it look like I put a coop light in there. I was wondering if, since it was left on since 2:55am, the flock considered it "daylight"???

Probably a dumb question but I found 5 eggs in the nesting box when we were only getting 2 eggs a day recently. Wasn't sure if fake daylight affects them so quickly. I check the nesting boxes before dawn so I know those eggs weren't there around 3am today.
