Do they hear the neighbors' roosters, and if so does it matter, and might those boys come visiting

We have a dozen chickens who are now 13 weeks old, strong and healthy. They spend most of the day free ranging. In the neighborhood there a a few other folks with chickens, and one has only roosters. We can hear them crowing. Are my chickens aware of them? Does the sound of crowing affect their behavior, and is there any chance my chickens will go find them, or will they come find my girls?

Yes, they hear them. If the roosters free range and yours free range and the proximity isn't too far they will likely find each other some day.

Hi and welcome to BYC! If you can hear the neighbor's roosters your chicks can too. If there aren't any fences between your flock and theirs, then it's possible that they might eventually meet up.
