This is my first time with meaties and we have to process on Oct. 27th which they will only be 7 weeks old. Anyway, is this how they are supposed to look? Wednesday we weighed a few and came up with 5 pounds on 3 of them and 3 pounds on 1. They look good to me, but what do you think? My husband has named them, BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Baked, Fried. [IMG] He's so funny.

They look just like they are suppose to. They will put a lot of weight on in the last couple of weeks.

Ditto on waiting 2 more weeks. It will be well worth it and MORE meat. We always butcher between 8 and 9 weeks.
