So, I was wondering if turkeys sing an egg song like chickens, or are they silent layers?

If they make noise when they lay, what does it sound like? Mine are Nagarsarette (no idea how to spell that!!)

I only have two Narragansett hens and neither sings an egg song. But then again neither do all of my chickens, so maybe it is an individual thing?

when my turkeys start laying ill see if they do, will be spring time though before that happens. most of my chickens in the past have clucked and bawked when laying eggs, so will be neat to see if they do.

I have "silent turks". My hens cackle, but my turks are "sneaky" layers.
