I moved these babies outside 4 nights ago. They were brooded in the house before. The short story is the cuckoo one I think got too cold. The 2nd morning I found her shivering and breathing heavily in her nesting box. I took her out and put her in an outside brooder with a heat lamp. I thought she was going to die (she looked real bad) but she is improving. She is still in the brooder under heat. I worried about the other 2. Should I move them under heat as well tonight? It's going to be high 30's in the morning. They are around 8 weeks old. They are bantam polish.

I sure wouldn't take a chance. I would put them all in with the heat lamp. When it is this cold I always give my chicks access to a heat lamp. Right now my Polish chicks (9 wks old) have a flood light hung about a foot and a half off the floor to get under for heat.
They sure are darling! Good luck!
