Do we have a guess on what this breed is? *pics*

    I am confused... they were supposed to be Black Australorps.. I bought them as day old chicks, but they are obviously not Black Australorps.... If you have any guesses it would be appreciated, they are some of my favorites, so I don't care if they are even mutts....

    They are very nice looking chickens whatever they are!! The second one reminds me of my Rhode ISland Reds, but I would'nt even pretend to be a chicken expert, so that is only a guess!

    The first one is a cross, I believe, and he appears to have some Silver Spangled Hamburg in him. The second one could be part New Hampshire or part RIR, but he also seems crossed with something, not positive what.

    I am in agreement with the "part" Sprangled Hamburg for the first one and "part" New Hampshire or RIR for the second one.....so they would be crosses...nice looking roosters....

    First one could have Austrolorp in him, but is a mix for sure and the second one I would guess hampshire red. Pretty birds. [​IMG]
