Do you all have these around

    I have three of these around my coup. They are Golden Orb Weavers. They get some of the flies so I leave them alone. Brad

    we have something like that around here but people call them Banana Spiders but there name realy is GOLDEN SILK SPIDER:

    I think if I saw them getting a lot of flies I would leave them... otherwise, I would dispatch.

    I don't bother the spiders...they're there for a reason...we get these black hairy guys in the house...I call them Vorlon Spiders...and I say hi to them and leave them alone.

    I wish I had some of those around my coop. My coop wasn't even finished and there were spiders moving in. Not your kind though. I like spiders.

    She is in the way of the coop door and she is about the size of the top of a soda can. As long as she keeps killing flies she can stay though. Her man is just a little tiny thing though about the size of a dime. Brad

    Yes it is I think that is were they get there name at least the golden part. Most people around here call them Banana Spiders too.

    Well that sucked to open. I'm deathly afraid of spiders... :eek:

    If I saw them around here, I'd run and scream. I've got hairy black ones in the barn, I'm sure the chickens are loving them. [​IMG] My little saviors.
