Do you dispatch/process a turkey the same as a chicken?

    Does a cone work and is everything pretty much the same as a chicken?

    I let my turkey get so big that I used a 50lb feed sac with a corner cut off. It worked pretty good. I'm sure he'd have knocked me out if his wings weren't restrained.

    I like Joel Salatin's comparison. Turkeys are like chickens, only bigger. Its like the difference in playing with legos vs duplos.

    Actually and seriously, though, I use a pulley system hoist my turkeys to proper chopping height, than work off that rope do pluck etc.
