If so, I would LOVE to see a picture of the eggs you're getting.

    Or a color description.

Trying to decide if I want to add some to my flock.

    Thanks!

Hatcheries advertise their birds as "Ameraucanas", but hatchery birds are not true Ameraucanas, They are Easter Eggers, which lay greenish eggs. True Ameraucanas have APA recocnized colors and produce only blue eggs.

Look at this thread to see all the differences between Araucanas, Ameraucanas, and Easter Eggers. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=128806

Quote:Well they can be an off blue, greenish, or pinkish, but there is a differnce in the blue color of Ameraucana eggs and EE eggs when you compare them.
