Hey there yall! I am new to BYC and i recently had a hen, Jone, go broody on me and decided to give her some hatching eggs. The lady i got them from said that she has barred rocks, polish, silkies and a range of bantams. So now i am wondering what kind of egg this is because i have only ever had barred rocks and red sex links, and this is the first time one of my hens has gone broody and have had eggs hatch for me. So if you have any ides thank you very much! Oh and i do know that there are mixed ideas about writing on the eggs with sharpie but we just decided to take the chance anyhow. So if you guys have any idea as to what egg this is please tell me:)[IMG][/IMG] and here is all of them in the coop

Barred rocks lay brown eggs but it seems a bit large to be a polish or silkie egg. I've owned both silkies and polish and it seems a bit larger than any of the eggs I ever got. Good Luck!!
