Hi, everyone. Newbie here (new to the forum and new backyard farmers)... I have been lurking for sometime but now have a question. We bought 5 chicks from the feed store and they told us that they were selling Delwares and Black Sex Link. My DD, being the individual spirit that she is, picked the one and only chick that had a slight orangeish tinge to it. As this chick ages (they are now 5 weeks old) she is becoming more and more orange. From the pics on the internet she looks like a Buff Orpington (sp?) but our chick has green feet and the ones on the internet of Buff Orpingtons don't appear to. I can post a pic tomorrow but it is now dark and I didn't think of it earlier.

Does anyone have an idea?

Hmmm... maybe they had an extra in there from the hatchery...... green legs are often Easter Eggers. You'll definitely have to post a pic! We all LOVE pics!

Most of the chicks I read about on threads that have green legs are Easter Eggers or Americaunas(spelling)
