Do you let your your ladies set by the moon?

I once read somewhere on here that folks would let thier hens brood at a certian moon (full, new, wax) I can't remember what was which only that if you went by the moon you would have more pullets or more roos. If anyone knows this information would you please share it with me.
 
I don't have the information on hand, but you should be able to find it in a farmer's almanac or maybe even online. I do know a lot of people that plant gardens by the moon's sign and it really seems to work so my guess is it might affect your hatch rate. The sex of birds is determined when the egg is fertilized so I wouldn't hold my breath for all pullets. Good luck and let us know how it turns out , I've wondered about this for years but have never tried it.
