I love historic buildings! We went for a drive last week and we found this lovely old house that is just sitting there falling to pieces. So sad. But I had a lovely time exploring it and took loads of pics. And no, I didn't break in, the door was broken LOL

I especially love the smell of old buildings and barns.

I can't say what it is about them. Maybe the mystery... You can't help wondering what they've been through, what they can tell you if they could speak. I especially love castles and monasteries. They are so full of history!
Whenever I see an old abandoned building like the one in the pic I posted I think what I could do with it, how I'd like to fix it and renovate it. If I were a rich man... LOL
