I know a local that swears by hatching peafowl under a broody hen gets the best hatch rate. She said she usually get about 80% under a hen and maybe 40-50% in an incubator. She has about 8-10 peafowl that she breeds. She also has a flock of like 10 broody banty cochins that she uses to incubate the eggs.

How many peafowl eggs can a broody bantam cochin hatch? I am getting a few in a couple days and trying to decide if I want to try it in an incubator or under my broody bantam cochin.
