    [​IMG] The hens appear to be games or game crosses. Hard to get a good look at the rooster, but he is very likely the same. Beautiful birds which should be good brood hens.

    Game hens are very good at raising chicks and protecting them from predators. They are excellent foragers. You can cross them with your RIR and put the RIR eggs under one of the game hens when she goes broody.
