Does anyone else have a pet that thinks a stuffed toy is their baby?

Our pomeranian likes stuffed toys and also any other kind of baby animal. He loves kittens, puppies, baby chicks. He wants to be daddy to all of them lol.
He also really likes this one large stuffed white bunny of the kids', but hmmm, lets just say he thinks of that one as a female LOL! We have to hide that one from him.

My very good friend has a Pyr who goes thru false pregnancies every now and then and will "horde" stuffies. One of them evidently was "sick" as she took it to a section of yard and buried it. The ones who "survived" were carried around and tucked up to her belly to "nurse" and she got upset when the other dogs would come by.

Our lab, Zima (RIP) would carry stuffies around too. You'd tell her to go get her "baby" and she'd run around the house to find her fuzzy toy which she'd carry around with her. If you hid it from her, she'd find it no matter where you'd hidden it

Leo has many stuffed dollies. The gorilla is special though. It is never ruffed up, just sucked on.

Abby my min pin had her babies.. and when i use the downstairs washroom she will bring the baby to me and want to play catch while i am on the toilet... she will scratch at the door till i open it. all this started because when she was a baby i used to leave the door open so i could hear what she was getting into and this was a game we started to keep her busy while i was busy...lol

Well, that's the pups and kittens . . . the bunnies make her look hungry.

nope all of my dogs have been spayed and my moms dog is neutered and he has his babies

My cat had a stuffed cat he thought was his mom. He tried sucking on its non-existing nipples. Eventually, the dogs got ahold of it. The cat was already about 7 years old and still needing his "mom". He went through some depression. I tried to find another just like it... he was never fooled.

yes, I got him way too early... it was a rescue situation where he was a orphan. Poor boy.
