Does anyone know how i can infer what sex my chick is?

I have 1 ameraucauna chick and 1 rhode island red chick. they are about 3 weeks old. how can i tell if theyre cockerewls or pullets? i asked this a while back but i didnt mention theyre breed or age.

Do you have pics? post in the section 'what breed or gender am I'. People should be able to help you out there.

Chances are though, it will be another 2-3 weeks before they start showing signs of gender. We still like to see chick pics though! As a tip, make sure you get a full body shot of the chicks while standing so we can see their legs, and a close up of their heads, making sure to get a good shot of their combs.

I was given some S/R ri reds some are dark in color and others are lighter can anyone tell me if the darker ones are the males ?
